About Edge Hill College
Edge Hill College of Higher Education is one of the top two major providers
of higher education opportunities for people from working class backgrounds.
In the last six years, the college has seen an 83% increase in applications
and the student numbers increased by 104% over five years- currently over
13,000 with one quarter postgraduate, the majority mature and just under
half part-time. 85% of graduates leave with professional and academic
recognition.
- NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) accreditation for
Journalism programmes
- Law Society approved LLB (Hons) Law degree
- British Psychological Society accreditation for Psychology degrees
Between three and four thousand health, social care and midwifery
professionals are trained and educated at Edge Hill and all those
successfully completing initial teacher training programmes go on to gain
professional status.
